Enemies of Ancient China
Overlooked Minor Nations for DBA Armies

This article is intended to provide DBA players with additional Army options for conducting DBA Campaigns involving Ancient China. The primary source was "Armies and Enemies of Ancient China", by John Grier, WRG Press.

Sogdonia was located east of the Aral Sea and near the Tarim basin and has data given about them in both sources on Persia and China. The LCh is used by pre500 BC armies. 1 x 2Lh or 3Cv or LCh (Gen), 2 x 2Cm/ 3Cm, 4 x 2Lh, 2 x 2Ps or LCh, 3 x 4/7Wb

Ferghana is located in the Tarim basin in far northwestern China. 1 x 2Lh or 3Cv (Gen), 2 x 2 Cm/ 3 Cm, 6 x 2Lh, 3 x 2Ps or 4/7Wb

Koloman Tribes were commented on by Marco Polo and are provided as an opponent for the Chinese. 1 x 3Kn or 3Cv (Gen), 2 x 3Cv, 6 x 2Lh, 3 x 2Ps or 7Wb

Sangimau Tribes were located in Kweichau and are provided as an opponent of the Chinese. They were allies of the Mongols. Their arrows were all regarded as poisoned. 1 x 3Kn or 3Cv (G), 1 x 3Kn or 3Cv, 3 x 2Lh, 1 x 3Cv (can be Mtd Cb), 2 x 3Bw (CB), 2 x 2Ps (Cb or J), 2 x 4Sp or 4Wb (Allies).

Miautse Tribes were located in Kweichau and were allies of the Sangimau. 1 x 3Cv or 4Sp (G), 4 x 4Sp, 2 x 3Bw, 1 x 4Wb or 2Ps, 2 x 2Ps, 2 x 2Lh or 3Cv
